i currently have sheetcam on my commandcnc linux machine, how do i update to the latest software version please?
The latest versions are on www.sheetcam.com download page.
but see also this thread- Is V7.1.40 downloadable for Linux? - #6 by Les_Newell
Thanks I’ll have a look, the issue I have with my version is that sometimes it doesn’t let me choose a drawing to open
I’ve just checked and my system is 32bit so I’ve got the latest already 6.1.57 are there any updates due Les?
I am having the same issue lately. Running CommandCNC 32 bit. I have deleted a lot of files and still when I go to New Part the menu pops up to look for the files but nothing shows up. I have to reboot sometime several times just to get the .svg files to show up.

Anybody have a fix for this. When I call up Sheetcam and > New Part the menu box shows where my Files are but nothing shows up (the box shows up but no list of files, and yes I am pointing to where they are). I have to reboot may 2 times to get it to show the files. Frustrating.

this will most likely need advice from @Les_Newell .
But just to be sure, sometimes in my Windows ver of sheetcam, I will go to Import a drawing and not ‘see’ the files I’m expecting in the folder only to notice that the file type selector was not set for the correct file type I’m looking for, ie. DXF vs. SVG. Just a thought.
I’m exactly the same as TJ, turning computer on and off numerous times to be able to use it.
I have been doing this for years. Yes it is the correct file type, nothing has changed in my file type or process.
I will supply screen shots if required.
