TorchMate 4800 and Sheetcam

Hi Group,

My first post: I found a few post regarding using Sheetcam to create G code for a TorchMate 4800. Most are older post. Would SheetCam be a good replacement for the program that is provided with the TorchMate? Thank in advance for any help.

re. sheetcam being a good replacement for TorchMate alternative CAM solution, I can’t help on that, but perhaps another TorchMate user will offer some advice. Perhaps explain some of your dislikes about the solution you are using now.

I checked out the post you linked and think you are right. I need to work with Sheetcam and learn the functions. I plan to download a copy soon.
