Hi all, very new to all this, as in this is my first week woth sheet cam and any sort of plasma cnc.
The past week I’ve used sheet cam to make a few of my own files and cut them out succesfully on the plasma cnc. Its a halo innovations 2400 table (the same as a versa cut 2x2 just the canadian version).
The last couple files I have attempted to cut put however won’t cut. The cnc runs around tracing out the part but it won’t actually fire the plasma, almost like its in demo mode. Also it doesnt touch the Z axis at all, doesn’t reset its height control on different parts, again like its in demo mode.
I thought this was odd so I loaded a previous file from the day before which I cut out, and sure enough it cuts it just fine. This tells me it must be the file and not the CNC where my issue lies.
Anybody experienced this before? I tried comparing my operations settings between the file I know is good and the previous two that have failed and they are set identical. Nothing has changed that I can see, any hekp would be greatfully appreciated, thank you!
