Hello. I tried sending an email to the support email and also tried to make contact via the Support/Contact us links providing my email but have not received a response. I did check my “junk” folder but not finding any communication from sheetcam. I could not find a phone number to call for sales or support on the website.
I’m looking for a way to trial the dragknife add-in with the software. What is the best route to trying the software with the dragknife feature? Looking at the download page I can download a trial, but the dragknife is a paid option. I don’t mind paying for the add-in if I’m assured that it will work with the trial version of the main software. Please help me to raise the attention of someone within Sheetcam that can help with this. I did supply email and phone number on the contact page of the website.
Thanks, Brad
Good luck. It appears that support is non-existent since SheetCam was purchased by the new owners. The forum is pretty dead except for the occasional tech help from Lou.
The sales team has reached out with the demo (much appreciated). I did check my “junk” folder for responses prior to this post and did not see anything from them. However, its possible that they reached out prior to this post. At any rate, I see many complementary things about Les on this forum and I appreciate and respect the work he has done. I tried to find info on the new owner(s) but cannot find anything. Hopefully they follow his lead. Small business is really tough. Many great small businesses die with the founder’s retirement. Let’s hope the momentum of a great product can carry things over the hump. Also, support is difficult, expecially without subscription fees. When did the product sell, and where can I find details?
This is a very worrying thing. There are many of us that have many customers to support. We rely heavily on prompt support when our customers have issues. I have customers that asked already to see what alternatives are available. This is a very sad thing for me as I have been a user and distributer from very early on with Sheetcam. It is still the best program for the small business but some are reluctant to upgrade. I really hope that the support problem is only a temperary issue.
