Make sure you have the Layer view open in sheetcam, menu View-‘Layer tool’.
Do you the expected shapes drawn in inkScape appear on the sheetcam drawing pallet ?
inkScape can be daunting to master, and confusing for beginners due to the many options, drawing tools, and condition modifiers that it has, not to mention the various export options and formats.
