Gcode from a rotary tubular is saved as flat, no A axis

In the sheetcam simulation, the x, y, z, a coordinates display correctly, matching the graphics display, even the rotation of the tubular. But the saved gcode results as one flat file, no A axis. So its just the x, and y axis moving. I tried all post processor but same problem.

Since the rotary simulator is working, it appears you have the rotary plugin enabled and defined correctly for your job. I suspect your problem is that you’re not using a correct rotary enabled post processor (pp). Please upload here the pp your are using.

if i send you the Sheetcam job file, can you try to output a gcode? Im attaching also the file.

I tried the all possible Rotary post processors available. Some have now created an A Axis coordinates, which is good, but there is some glitches/weird paths. Maybe if you can run the sheetcam file i attached, it will help isolate the problem.

Thank your bLouChip for responding. I am really stuck up with this problem for almost a week now, and still no solution. Hoping you can help me find the solution.

Follow up question… I have the Rotary Plasma license plugin. Do i also need the laser plugin? I am uising a StarFire CNC controller. some of the Gcode works except there are some weird paths created.

It seems that your conditions and symptoms have changed.
in order to diagnose the problem now, please show exactly what “glitches/weird paths” you are seeing in the gcode file, edit to annotate the exact lines in your gcode file and then upload it here please. Also, I need to see the post processor file you are using, please upload it here as well.

As to laser plugin need, I was assuming you were using CNC plasma process, but if you are CNC laser, then yes, you also need the laser plugin. The RotaryPlasma plugin name is somewhat misleading, the rotary plugin works with plasma, router, laser CNC processes.
