2014 4x4 starlab cnc plasma table candcnc command cnc Linux electronics, sheetcam, hypertherm power max 85.
I’m trying to cut expanded steel and after the initial cut the torch doesn’t stay fired. Talked to hypertherm and they said its the serial connection turning the torch off when it senses the opening in the expanded steel. On the power max it has a setting for expanded steel that i set, but as soon as i turn the candcnc on it automatically switches back to regular plasma cutting. Anyone know a work around to cut expanded steel?
