Hi all, I am trying to edit a .Tools file for sheetcam. No joy so far, do I have to keep the same number of decimal places when i change things like pierce and cut heights etc? Changing , for example, 1.016 to 1.5, do i need to enter it as 1.500?

Not sure if I’m crazy or not, but is V7.0.21 compatible with the new hypertherm sync chart data? trying to input chart data into the .tools file but sheetcam just plain won’t load it. tried everything i can think of and it seems to be boiling down to the actual numbers.
will V7.0.21 ‘s internal parser not recognise these numbers, or am i actually going crazy?
The .tools file is not intended to be edited in a text editor. Sheetcam has a robust UI to define and edit tools. If you want to edit tools en mass, then first use/try menu Tools / ‘Tool table’. If that does not meet your needs, then use File / ‘Import/Export toolset’. You can choose to export as a .csv file and edit that with a spreadsheet pgm.

Well thankyou very much! Tools table is one place I have never looked. I did edit some in the jet tools window, but when my system crashed recently (after installing an update) all my tools dissapeared from Sheetcam, so I wanted to bake them in to the .tools file for a simple re-load.
