How do I create a custom material profile for my rotary plasma, i don’t see a Z-Purlin profile to use.
- create the rotary profile (end of axis view perspective) in your CAD.
Note you must have radius corners. I found that 2.5mm R on a 6mm wall finally was accepted by sheetcam, where 1.5mm was not. I’m not sure if this is a near minimum radius dim or % of wall thickness. Just be aware. - import to the dxf of the profile on a flatsheet drawing.
- menu Options / ‘Rotary plasma’, select 'Custom’ work type.
- ‘Manage custom shapes’, then ‘New shape from part’
