x movement wrong.

New machine set up.

I can use MDI in Mach and the machine goes in correct directions. Neg X goes left of zero. Positive X goes to the right…

This machne has the home or zero, zero set at bottom right instead of bottom left.

With that said, when I run the attached tap file the x movement goes oppisite to what it should go. Neg X is going to the right of zero.

G code shows neg X numbers…

I’m missing something big time. I need a hint or a glass of wine. Maybe both.

Thanks, Aj

I don’t see an attached file, but when you do Sheetcam, where is the
origin located in your drawing???

Art, what’s up with the 6 replys of the same e-mail?

The file is to the bottom right of the original post.

Just click on “download”

As for the origin location in the drawing, that has never been a problem.

Aj

Not sure why there were 6 reply’s. I view the posts on this forum in my email client and rarely log in like I have this time. We will see how many replies it sends this time.

As for the origin, I was referring to the origin in the drawing not the tap file. This can make the table move in the wrong direction if you have the X origin on the right hand side of the drawing.

My web host has been having some problems recently. They were subjected to a DDOS attack and it appears to have messed a few things up. I guess that could have caused the multiple posts.
AJ, I looked at your cose and it looks correct to me.
If you enter G0X0Y0 does it move to the bottom right corner?
Now enter G0X-5. It should move to the left.
