I have a question regarding recent purchaser’s of the V-7 license and being able to upgrade to the V-8 version, I was told by the sales team that a decision regarding recent purchases was going to be made within a month or so. This was over a month ago and have not heard anything since?
Are decisions still being made?
Appreciate any updates on this ,( my purchase was made 1 month before the V-8 release)
Here’s what it says in a recently added FAQ doc to their webiste-
Why does SheetCAM Version 7 license not work with SheetCAM Version8?
SheetCAM V8 has been upgraded with new, useful features. Unlike previous upgrades,
Version 8 will not be free of charge, consistent with many other software titles in the
manufacturing industry. If you have recently purchased Version 7 and would like to upgrade > to Version 8, please email Support and a special pricing offer will be made available to you.
Thanks for the info…it’s unfortunate that I had contacted the sales team initially and was told that a decision about upgrades was being made, and that was the last contact with me!
It would have been nice that they followed up with people that had reached out regarding this matter rather than waiting for a decision?
