Trouble with sheetcam conversion from illustrator

Hello,
I’m pretty new to sheetcam so I may have more questions in the future, but this seems to be my current problem. I have adobe illustrator CS2 which I’m using as my drawing program. When a drawing is complete I convert it to a .dxf file which allows me to import into sheetcam. The file does import, but when it does the units go from inches to feet. So basically if I draw a 10" circle (verifying with the ‘ruler’ setting), convert it to dxf and import and now I have a 10’ circle in sheetcam. It occurs even if I try to save the files in an older version of illustrator. Has anyone ever run into this before? I’m not sure if its an illustrator issue or a sheetcam issue but I thought I’d ask to see if anyone else has dealt with this?
-Thanks,
Nate

That’s unusual but you can get around it. When you import a drawing a box pops up with a number of options. I assume you currently have the scale set to inches. Instead use a custom scale factor of 2.1166666666
That should then scale the drawing correctly.
