Hi there,
I noticed that tabs are always placed on the contour.
When you have a no-offset operation that’s fine, but with inside- and outside-offsets this gives a wrong visual feedback.
The next image show three times the same contour.
The left has an inside offset.
The middle has no offset.
The right has an outside offset.
I suggest the following changes:
- Make the tabs appear on the actual tool-path, not just on the contour
- Make clear where the tool goes up/down e.g. with a different-color, so the actual tab-length is better visible.
- To keep it simple discard the lead-in/out angles.
Hopefully the following image says more then the above description:
Very curious what other users think of this.
