Hello, I just had to get a new Pc as I was having issues with he old on. A family member imaged my old computer. I can open sheetcam and import a file, set it up and get it ready to cut but once that new file is opened in mach3 there is no gcode written to it.
First of all do you see the green tool paths? If so does simulation work?
Do you get any g-code at all? What post processor are you using?
Thanks for the reply, I am getting green tool paths and I am using mach3 plasma.scpost.
It is only writing about 9 lines of gcode from what I can see in mach3
That looks like a license issue. Could you send me your license name or serial number in a PM. You can find the license details in Help->about.
PM sent
I am having this exact same issue. Was able to make about a dozen files then it started doing the same lines as shown and not writing the part code. I will PM you the same issue.
Machine is a Wright CNC, using Mach 3.
I am having the same problem I uninstalled sheet cam on shop computer then tried to reinstall on house computer didnt work then I tried another computer still not working I reinstalled on the shop computer still not working says it installed license but not working I downloaded the free
Version and it worked
It is probably a license problem. If you PM me the license serial number I’ll check it for you. You can find the serial number in Help->about.
I’m having the same issue as of today
Could you PM me with your license serial number
Have just purchased sheetcam. I too am not getting g code generating in my program. I suspect a license issue as all other variables have functioned well.
hi, a follow up to my complaint on the g-code issue. i had assumed the failure because no file was showing when i went to download to my cnc controller. however in locating the file and opening it in wordpad showed that it was indeed generating a g-code. So i deduced that my controller software wasn’t able to “see” the files from Sheetcam. I went back to my controller’s site and found a download for a Sheetcam interface. All is well now and i am kicking out product, happily.
