Pressing DEL when renaming job deletes the job instead of marked text

While renaming a job and wanted to delete the selected text, DEL deletes the complete job instead of the marked text:

What version of SheetCam are you using? I can’t replicate that fault here.

I am using Ubuntu 22.04 but I think it was the same on Debian (Bullseye)
