Plasma torch height problem

Hi,

I have my DIY plasma with Mach3, Proma THC150 and floating head.
My floating head switch is connected to probe. I use MP1000-THC post processor.
Floating head switch offset is set properly.

When I start cutting, head goes to pierce high and then instead to cutting hight it goes into material and after few millimeters,
THC adjust properly high.

Why is it going into material?

I would suggest you ask this question over on the PlasmaSpider forum. There are several guys over there that use the Proma THC.
