Hello, I’m new to sheetcam and I want to add a pattern to an object. I’m not sure how to go about this and wondered if anyone had any input. I have a couple .DXF files of patterns but cant seem to add them to the part in the 2D rendering that I am making. is there an easier way to create patterns in parts like a honeycomb pattern? Thank you!
welcome to sheetcam forum. Adding a pattern such as a honeycomb to a drawing is something you do in your 2D CAD program. The honeycomb pattern is no different than other contour lines in your 2D drawing, the entire drawing then being exported to .dxf or .svg and imported to sheetcam to define and build the toolpath.
