Hi Guys,
Im trailing a demo of SheetCAM before purchasing. We have an old Koike plasma.
I have ran the process but changed the output to be .MP so my machine reads it. However the code is different from my usual method on CamDuct and so the machine isnt reading it correctly.
How could I get the correct post processor to work?

Give this a try. To install this post, save the attachment to any convenient folder on your computer then run SheetCam and go to Options->machine->post processor. Click on the ‘Import post’ button. Using the box that appears, navigate to your post and open it.

Thank you for trying that but it didnt come out as expected. I tried a donut, the outer size 100mm and the inner 50mm centralized. No sizes were correct and it was off centre too. Ill attach the 2 files from the different softwares to compare.

Ah, it looks like your controller only understandands incremental moves. Give this a try.

Perfect, I think thats done the trick. I just have to run some further tests now. Is there anyway of purchasing a month trial? Im hoping its going to superceed the software I have the now moving forward.

Many thanks Les, on the first few runs, the arcs seem to be made up of very large straight lines rather than smooth curves… Is this down to the post processor?
In SheetCam make sure View->Show segment ends is enabled. Do your arcs have lots of white dots on them?

That was enabled already and yes, I see dots at the start & ends of the straights yes. See attached.
Those lines are in the dxf file. What cad package are you using? Take a look in cad. Do you see the lines there?
