I’ve had great success importing DXF drawings, but I just tried a HPGL and nothing seems to happen. Its a pretty simple drawing of a gear (from the http://woodgears.ca/gear_cutting/template.html site). I looked at the file with a text editor and it looks good.
Is there something I am missing? I attached the file.
SheetCam can’t handle the CO lines at teh start of the file. If you edit the file and remove them it should load correctly. I will fix this in the next release.
Just as a FYI, that worked on every file I have tried.
Perhaps you can maintain the comments between HPGL and the resulting GCode?
I am afraid SheetCam doesn’t have any provision for handling comments in the drawing so they can’t end up in the G-code.
