I have a simple triangular shaped part. I duplicate it and rotate the duplicate 180 degrees so that they the 2 triangles nest together (like a square with space between the triangles). I’d like to be able to array the two parts as one so as to maintain their offsets. Ordinarily, in cad or illustrator I would group them, but I know sheetCam doesn’t have a group feature. Is there an easy way to do this?
to array multiple parts, first position them on the drawing pallet as you want them, using menu Mode / Nesting. Use Ctrl-left click to select multiples buy pointing the mouse at a part contour, or use the mouse to draw a box around the parts to select them. Now while still in Mode / Nesting, right click to get context menu, select Array, and the selected parts will be arrayed as they relate to each other. The parts are not locked into a group, each one is maneuverable individually after arraying.
