File folders are blank for new part, import, jobs etc

Hi all, I’m running Linux/command cnc and Recently, when I try to add a new part, or do anything with selecting a file from the PC or USB, all the file folders are blank. On the left side of the pop-up box under places I can see the folders, but on the right where the sub folders and files should be, there is nothing.

Things I have tried: updating sheetcam, updating Linux, restarting PC and of course making sure that the file type in the lower right corner is on dxf or svg etc.

What I stumbled upon is that when the PC is connected to the Internet, the issue is pretty consistent, sometimes I can get it to work by restarting the PC over and over. However when it is not connected to the Internet and I restart sheetcam, everything works as it should.

Anyone have any ideas?

The issue does seem exactly the same, however there is no resolution that I can see. I also figured out that turning off my Internet connection somehow made a work around for the issue, but it’s still an issue. If the Internet is connected then the issue is back.

We don’t believe this to be a sheetcam issue, it appears to be a linux file manage library issue. The solution was cited in the referenced or a related thread. Perhaps posting in the reference thread will yield the solution or another pointer.
