I’m a grad student at UW. I’m trying to use our Tormach mill to create some small domes and cups for an experiment. I’ve got my stl files all ready, but I’m not sure how to translate these into gcode. Does anyone have any advice/want to help?

You need to download a cam software. Import the stl file into that software. And it will creat the code. I recommend CAMBAM software. There is a free or trial version of this. See the link below. There are videos that show you how to use the software.

Thanks, We’ve got SprutCAM. I’ve gone through the tutorials and I think pocketing looks like it’s going to work
