Re: Wierd Z axis offset issue
Does your machine have a Floating head? If so, you might want to check what your Switch Offset is set at. Option->Machine->Post Processor-> Set Custom Post Option.

Re: Error: Evaluation limit reached Post processing failed
If you did not delete the original email, you should be able to search it and just download it to your laptop. Now if you are just practicing and not using it to program another machine, evaluation is not a problem,it just limits the amount of gcode you can produce.

Re: Sheetcam file not showing the same on the plasma
If you still have the old gearbox, I would check the Gear Ratio( 20:1, 50:1 ect) on it and compare it to the new one.If it isn't the same, you will probably have to go into your controller software and recalculate all of your steps again.

Re: Skipping cuts on the same layer?
Put S2 on a different layer and don't program it. to do that, be in contour mode and move the mouse over the contour you want and right click and pick
"Move to New Layer"and give the layer a name.

If you are running Mach3, look under Config/ Motor Tuning. Check and see if both your X and Y drives have the same numbers. the only other thing would
be bad bearing in one of your axis causing it to drag. Just had this problem with my Torchmate.Bad bearings in my X axis.

Splash Screen Freezes On Start Up
When trying to launch SHeetCam this morning, the splash screen froze up. And when you hover the mouse over the task bar icon, you see a small dialog box that states that "the Turning plugin has expired and you have to install the newest version to continue using it." I'm not using a Turnin...

What I do is in Job Options/Nesting is set for minimize tool change. this allows all my marking to be done at one time, then I only have have to change my plaz back one time and finish cutting everything.

Re: DXF's not importing correctly
Dropped it clear down to .0001 and it still happens. Just a little background, the drawing is originally created in SolidWorks and they export it as a dxf.I then bring it into SheetCam. Now I did take the same file and was able to import into the TorchMate CADCAM software and it came in correctly.So...

DXF's not importing correctly
This is the first time I had seen this one. I've been using SheetCam for 4 plus years now, and I can not explain this one.The dxf is semi circular with faceted sides, but when I bring them into SheetCam, it removes the facets and replaces them with an arc.See below images. draftsight image.jpg Now t...
