Keeping parts together while keeping Thermal Distortion in mind

How do you guys set up your cutting in sheetcam so it cuts one part completely, then jumps halfways across the sheet to cut another??

Im currently stuck either A. cutting one part completely then the torch cuts out the immediate part next to it or B. using thermal distortion for everything so a hole on one part another hole on another part, etc

I would like it to cut out one part completely (holes then outline) incase the sheet gets moved which happened on my last cut and then move across the sheet for the next one to limit warping since my THC is unavailable right now. If they had a place to put “preferred distance between cuts” when the “keep parts together function” was on this would be ideal

I don't cut a lot, so I usually just manually set up the cut sequence and the part order.
