HI All,
I have a Swifty 610 Plasma table and the software it comes with is rubbish.
Got put onto sheetcam which is very easy to use but when i export G code there is very little in the TAP file for example
(Filename: Lift Lug.tap)
(Post processor: Mach4 Swiftcut V2.scpost)
(Date: 12/12/2022)
G21 (Units: Metric)
G90 G80 G40
M05 M30
Any reason why?
I have machine set to Mach4 Swiftcut. Says it exports no problem.
Cheers,
Nick

Re: Swifty 610 & Swifty CNC
Hi,
Ive been playing and have gone Operation > Plasma Cutting and changed "layer" to 0.
Now it is producing code but when i import it into Swifty CNC it is blank, if i open it on https://ncviewer.com/ i can see the part but it is way off the screen.
Could it be not on the actual work piece and thats why SwiftyCNC doesnt see it?
Has anyone with a Swifty managed to make it work with another program?

In SheetCam the cursor position is shown at the bottom of teh screen. You can use this to confirm the position of the part on your table.
Try the 'Mach4 Swifty' post processor. It may work better for your machine.
