change the layout of parts

hi there i have a 2 part drawing but as they are side by side they are too big for my material so i need to place one above the other, on the Y axis i guess it is. is there a way of doing this please? i have tried right clicking and the breakaway but it doesnt let me highlight just 1 part, i can post the file if you need me to.

Are both parts in the same drawing? If so, SheetCam treats the drawing as one part. In the parts window, right-click on the part and select 'break up manually nested drawing'. You can now move the parts around independently.

This is similar to a question I had as well- can I rotate these separate parts to nest them more efficiently? Thanks, Bill

Yes you can. In nesting mode with the part selected you can enter an angle directly in the angle box at the bottom of the main window or you can use the ',' and '.' keys to rotate them. If you have selected a group of parts the whole group will rotate about it's centre.
