hi there, for some reason when i try to import either svg or dxf into my linux sheetcam there is nothing to see on the screen?
ive tried on a windows pc and the files is there no problem showing up ready to send to the plasma.

also how do i get a shortcut onto the desktop to double click and open sheetcam please

In the file open dialog, do you have the file type set to the correct type? For instance if it is set to g-code you will get a blank drawing.
You should be able to copy the shortcut from your application menu to the desktop. The exact method of doing this varies between desktop managers but try dragging it from the menu to your desktop.
