Sheetcam post processor for back gauge

Hi, I'm trying to update a press brake that has an Hurco CNC back gauge (single axis)
My idea is to change the OEM system and add a system with stepper motors and use it with Mach3 (exactly like a CNC plasma table but with just one axis)
so I would like to know if a Sheetcam post processor can be modified (or create a new one) with the function to move one axis forward and backward with one click (either with a mouse or keyboard)
