post processing error

when running post processor for Mach 3 I get this error:
An unexpected error has occurred:
Unable to open output file C:\Users\Documents\1\Milling\GearPlate.tap
This error occurred on line 1197 in file ..\Camlib\postmacro.cpp)
Post processing failed
Any help would be appreciated.

The most likely reason is that you have the g-code file open in Mach3 at the same time. Mach3 locks the file so other programs can't change it.
