Hi Les,
could you add some kind of "sharpen corners" for open paths to give even a single line a look of carving by the use of a v-cutter.

The ramping angle doesn't work this way coz it becomes eliminated

Hmm, I am not sure how to go about this one. Sharpen corners won't really work on the end of a line. I'll have a think and see if I can come up with something.
