HIYA LES, I have had several files lately that had sections fail to post for various reasons. Is there any way to alert us to the fact that sections failed to post.
They all failed for legitamit reasons(;-) But with a huge plasma file that takes almost a hour to cut the small sections seem to go unnoticed UNTILL they are cut then you notice(;-)
Thanks (;-) TP
PS Any luck with an updated job costing report yet???

What sort of failures are your referring to? You should get warnings if anything goes wrong. I'll try to get the job report sorted once I finish the current internal changes. Unfortunately they are taking a lot longer than I expected.

Les it failed in areas where there was NOT enough room to do the offsetting without gouging the part. I had reduced the drawing scale and missed that area. When posting, it started the section and when it got to the narrow section it did post that part BUT it did NOT post the rest of the section that was clear. Only one small area had the gouge problem.
This was a closed polyline inside section. MY FAULT for not triple checking the posted file(;-) But an error warning would be nice, maybe a flashing section of the drawing that did not post?????
NO hurry on the job report(;-)
Thanks Terry Parker

Hi Terry,
If it is just a part of an shape that doesn't get cut, you won't get a warning. It is actually very difficult to detect this reliably without getting lots of false alarms.
If the shape is too small for the cutter to fit anywhere then the operation will turn yellow and you will get a warning that some features were too small to cut.
