How to position inported drawings?

Post by pbarratt »

This question is so basic I'm embarrassed. When I import a DXF drawing into TNG I am given the option to position it in any corner or the center of the material. How do I offset it from a corner so it isn't tangent to the edge of the material? At one time I was able to drag the part outline within the material but I don't remember how.

Thanks.

Switch to nesting mode (the button that looks like a cross). Now drag the part with your mouse. Alternatively you can enter new coordinates at the bottom of the screen.
