Issue with error messages on Linux

Post by imechura »

I am using Sheetcam for linux v7.1.35 and am having seceral issues with it. I have been using SC on windows for a few years now so I am pretty comfortabl with what to expect. Ive posted my another issue seperatley.

Whenever an error occurs, there is suppost to be a popup that comes up to inform about the error like if the tool is too big for the hole or something similar.
On this version it pops up sometimes and other times it is invisible but if I scroll the page just rightr I can the error popup to flash on and off sometimes enough that I can read it other times not at all.

I checked for updates and did not see any. Please tell me what I can do to resolve this issue.

Here is my linux info:
Linux computer-name 5.15.0-76-generic #83-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 15 19:16:32 UTC 2023 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Linux is a nightmare to support. Every new release breaks something.
Theer is a package called Wine that allows you to run Windows executables on Linux. You may have a better experience using the Windows version with Wine.
