Rotary B axis

Rotary B axis

When specifying the rotary axis as 'B', in both the Rotary-plasma plugin setup and in the scpost var rotaryAxis=" B", I was expecting gcode where X axis is constant at 0 and Y axis varied in position along with B axis, since the B axis is parallel to Y, as I understand it for grbl.
Is my understanding wrong, did I miss a B axis setup step, or does Rotary-plasma plugin just support ZXA axis motion for Rnd Pipe ?
Please advise, thanks.
