little red box to import to

ok, this is my very first time on here, so please be patient.
when I open sheet Cam to import a new part, that red box your part is suppose to fit into is not there.
it has completely disappeared .what did I do wrong, and how do I fix it?

In the View menu make sure 'Show machine and work' is turned on. If that doesn't fix it go to Options->job options->material and make sure your material dimensions look sensible.
