Hello,
yesterday i bought your great software "Scanything".
Since yesterday i'm trying to make the software work with my cnc router.
But i got some problems with the calibration.
I already made a video of this.

Did you have a solution for me?
I already checked the rotation.
Best regards,
Thomas

Re: Scanything calibration problem
Are you sure the camera rotation is correct? If you jog right the image should move left. If you jog up the image should move down.
Re: Scanything calibration problem
Yes, if i jog right, the image move to left.
I already checked this.

Re: Scanything calibration problem
Are you using an external USB or Ethernet controller with Mach?
Re: Scanything calibration problem
I am using a usb controller with Mach3.

Re: Scanything calibration problem
That will be the problem. Most USB controllers cause problems when used with Scanything.
Re: Scanything calibration problem
Okay, so there is not solution but replace the cnc usb controller?

Re: Scanything calibration problem
I have not been able to get USB controllers to work. The only method that has been reliable is to use a parallel port directly.
Re: Scanything calibration problem
Years ago I scratch built a CNC router table, using Mach3 and a USB Smoothstepper card. I used Scanything on this table, and it worked fine, once I got the camera orientated right. I've since taken that table apart and built a plasma table, which I haven't used Scanything on. So other than to acknowledge that it is possible to run Scanything on a USB controller, that's all I got.
