DXF import mirror error

Post by David_Lelen01 »

I put this with the new suggestions, but i suppose it should have been placed here.

When importing DXFs created by NestFAB v3 into SheetCAM v6.0.30 some entities that were mirrored in the nesting process appear mirrored across the axis in sheetcam. The attached screenshot should clarify what i mean.

Could you try the development version to see if it does the same thing.

Yes, Version 6.1.53 still does exactly the same thing. Perhaps i should just be using the development version regardless though. Attached is the DXF i'm having the issue with if that will help any.

It looks like something odd with the dxf. I loaded it into a couple of different cad packages and they show the drawing as mirrored.

I see, it does appear to be something wrong with the way NestFAB generates it. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and SpaceClaim all open/import it perfectly fine. LogoTag and SheetCAM has a little bit of trouble. BobCAD is a complete jumbled mess.
