No speed defined for torch travel

Post by MarkB »

Newbie here:

My table is working fine except the really SLOW motion of the torch, around 3" per minute. This code should say 140" per minute per the way i set up the Jet cutting operation for 140" per minute. N0050 says F1 which i have read is a place holder.

is there a decent list out there what .... say F47.2241 mean, a decoder ring. (old guy reference there)

HELP

I tried to search for F1, speed etc but the phrases were too common for the search engine.

Could you post a copy of your job file (File->save job) with everything set up ready to cut. I'll take a look and see what is going on.

If you open your cut operation (double click on where it says 'Outside offset,0,T1: Plasma, 0.063 in kerf'). You will see that the feed rate is set to 3.937IPM.
