zigzag pocket 0-90 deg

Post by 80gus »

Im having issues with pocketing when i set the cut to 0 or 90 deg to get straight cuts for the final finish, so the machine marks a parallel or vertical, around complex pictures i always seem to get 1 or 2 lines where (set to 0 deg angle) the step ain't X>>>>>>Y DOWN X<<<<<<<<<Y Down
when changing between y cut height it steps on an angle. seems to be on only small areas with X movement. is there any way i can change that so it is always 100% thane angle i choose? hop that makes sense, as with the bottom left of the attached picture you will see what i mean.

If SheetCam thinks it is quicker to simply move from the end of one part of the pocket to the start of another part of the pocket rather than lifting the cutter it will do so. I have added an option for the next development version so you can force it to always lift for moves.

It has been in the development version for a little while. Look for 'Always lift cutter when repositioning'
