How exactly do you set up chain cutting ?

How exactly do you set up chain cutting ?
I searched and couldn't find out so I'll ask . When setting up an operation I see "chain length " which I've put in different numbers but I never can see all my parts linked together .I m trying this on different parts on the same sheet not the same part in multiples . I'm using the development version .

How exactly do you set up chain cutting ?
The idea of chain cutting is that say you use a setting of 50mm then if the end of the first part cut and the next pierce is within 50mm from each other, the torch will just continue cutting to the next part and not do a pierce again. You have to place your pierce and end points of parts within this setting range to make it work.

How exactly do you set up chain cutting ?
SheetCam will only chain if it can move in a straight line from the end of one cut to the start of the next and the distance is less than the chain distance. If an outline is in the way it won't try chaining.
