new problem with hole drilling

in my drawings, I define layer 99 as holddowns. There is nothing on that layer but points. The points on that layer are used to spot drill the panel prior to executing the rest of the code. I have a drilling toolpath which drills each point .08 deep then I insert a pause command.

I import drawings with the "use points for drilling" checked.

In 5.0.7 my jobs open with the following error:
"no holes were found. Check the minimum and maximum hole size"

Since a point has actually no dimension it might help if you replace the points with tiny circles and import the drawing again.
