5.0.5 crash

the stable version 5.0.5 crashes during exit.
The newest development version works fine.

Could you give V5.0.6 a try. Hopefully this hould be fixed.

it changed a bit:

if I start the program and exit it immediately, then it still crashes.

If I do something (i.e. open the Help-About box, or anything else) then
its fine.

Try downloading and installing from the website rather then using auto update.

yes, I downloaded and made a totally new installation.

5.0.6 worked for a couple of days without crash, now it is crashing again when I leave the program.

The error message shows:

Runtime Error!
R6025
pure virtual function call

maybe this helps finding the problem

it could be a problem of the German language files which were delivered with the Version 4 which I purchased last year.
There was no update of the language files, so maybe they don't fit to version 5 ?

no, I had the problem also with the english version today.

I am using the latestet development version now, which works without any problems.

It is odd that the dev version works while stable doesn't. There is very little difference between the two at the moment.

yes, the dev version also crashed today.

The software works well until I exit the program.
Maybe it has to do with saving configuration files during exit in Win7 ?

- new Version 5.1.8 installed
- started it, do not touch anything just starting, program opens
- Close program: crash

now I changed the Win7 compatibility mode and selected Win-XP SP3 and administrative privileges.

now works fine.

Does it store any data in the program directories ? This is allowed under XP but not more under Win7.

That's strange. SheetCam keeps all of it's settings in application data, not program files.
