i am a new user to sheetcam and do find it easy to use. to have a plasma that ran on shopbot tools software. the dxf converter to shopbot code created the cut sequence in the order that the drawing was made. using turbocad , i would select each hole or slot and bring to front , which would create the cut order. be a good feature for me anyway.

I am afraid you can't do that in SheetCam. Generally the automatic optimisation should do a pretty good job though you may have to play with the settings a bit for the best results.
