Hello everyone.
First post.
I build a plasma cnc table. Table is moving, torch can be turned on and off. Proma thc sd installed. I want to use a SMC4-4 stand alone cnc controller. Which is working fine so far.
I evaluated sheetcam and due to several other posts in this forum I tried the MP1000 post processor. The post writes a G28.1 command which should home the z axis. But there is my problem...my z axis is pointing upwards for the plus direction. This is correct afaik but this also means that the touch off Switch on the floating head isnˋt triggered.
Is there a solution for this possible? The controller does not seem to understand G31. Nothing happens when issuing that command.
Any help?? Thanks in advance!
Heiko
SMC4-4 with plasma cnc...problem with MP1000
Re: SMC4-4 with plasma cnc...problem with MP1000
I could invert the z axis and tell the proma SD thc to do the same thing but then the output of the post has to be in the negative z direction (which after inverting is pointing upwards).
Will it be possible to alter the post to do that? Where do I have to change it?
Thank you. Heiko
