I have now released 6.9.6 as the new development version so beta is no longer needed. Thanks for all of you help.
I am on track for this to become the new 7.x stable and dev series in January.

Marco,
The new dev should solve the crashing on close. Please let me know if it doesn't.

So the Stable will get all of the Dev goodies in January? Or are you still running 2 different versions?

Yup. Stable is well overdue for an update. In January there will be V7.0.0 Stable and V7.1.0 development. At release they will be the same but again dev will get new features while stable will only get bug fixes. Once dev has a decent number of well tested new features V8 will be released and the cycle repeats.

Do you have a link to the download of the new version?
Try to use the check for updates and sheetcam tells me that there are no updates available.
Best Regards.
