part drop out

Post by ggeh »

How do I leave small tabs to hold the part from dropping out while machining. The tabs can be cut by hand after machining process to release the part from the stock. Not sure what this is called or even if this is done in sheetcam.
Thanks, Gary

Well thank you again for your time and help. I'm making a parking plate out of .25 aluminum for my router when I change from router to plasma so I don't have to disconnect the cooling lines and the electrics. Its going to mount on the bracket for y axis belt housing. Did you ever get your router done?
Thanks, again Your the best
