help with post modification

Post by Marty »

Hello

I use sheetcam on a plasma cutter, with a shop sabre water table
Currently after the last cut, the torch ususally moves to X50 Y7 and times out blowing compressed air
The only problem is that this location is "over water" (I use only 48X96 sheets)and blows compressed air at the water and it splashed out, makes a big mess

I would like to add/modify an instruction or function that will allow me to change the "last position" to for instance X24 Y48

My post processor is attached
WinCNC Plasma THC nofeed.scpost
(2.72 KiB) Downloaded 98 times
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thaks

Have you checked your Parking position in Sheetcam to see where it is told to go park?

I believe WyoGreen is correct. Some posts had a parking move hardcoded into them, but this does not appear to be one of them. I must be set in the Job Options.

Thanks Guys
actually the parking position is set to x0y0, and the last few jobs, the torch has returned there as it should
I will leave it as is and monitor, Maybe something inadvertantly
THANKS!!
