Torch finding metal

Is there a way I can program for the torch to find the metal every time. My software is set for 500 MM (19.625 in.) Thanks

It depends on your post processor but these instructions should work for most. Go to Options->machine->post processor and click on the 'Edit post' button. Near the start of the post should be a bunch of configuration options. One of them should be refDistance. If you set that to 0 it will reference on every cut.

If you can't find the settings let me know what post you are using.
