G-Code Garbled...

Post by timothymark »

Having problems loading G-Code into Mach3 from SheetCam on our particular machine. The G-Code loads incomplete and garbled. So, out of curiosity we installed Mach3 on our office machine just to see how it responded to the same G-Code and everything went fine, everything was there, looked good to go.

The machine I have is a re-furbished unit from Lightning CNC that came with our 6x12 table package... It has to be utilized, I'm sure you're all aware, because of the onboard printer port.. Any suggestions? Thank you much, I really appreciate your input.

P.S. I know this is more of a User Machine/Mach3 problem but Mach3's Help Forums visual verification slider thingy is dysfunctional disallowing me to register there and I thought maybe someone has encountered this issue before?

This is possibly better done though one of the Mach forums. have you tried both?

I would suggest the MACHSUPPORT forum for the best results.

Can you post an example of what the garbled Gcode looks like, that is a new one for me as well

Garbled G-Code...

Here are two screen shots of what I am experiencing. It's a complete mystery. After talking to support at Lightning CNC, they have resolved to just send a new machine all together so, problem solved but the mystery lives in… Lol… Thank you guys for your replies and support, I really appreciate your input.

The problem machine doesn't have it's Mach license installed. Mach limits the amount of code it will run if it doesn't have a license.
