thc not posting in g-code.

Post by rikduk »

Hello Les,
included with this post is a job file and even if i think my rules a OK, it posts thc off on the first 2 holes, then doesnt on the rest. This has happened a couple of times.
My rules are a little complicated because
1-i still want the arc ok before move
2-m10p1 stops the torch without a stop in motion.
thank you

I'm trying to learn the ins and out's of these new rules to, what I did notice there though is:
Should you not have start code: thc off in the small circles rule?
I don't just understand the last rule on the small holes (on leadin set feed to 100% then after 1.27mm output code: thc off) will that not confuse matters, I unticked that.
Running that through in the simulator had thc turning off ok.

I see you are using the stop torch in motion code as well, I guess that little slowdown right at the end coincides with the stop torch code, interesting to see the different ways of using that.

if i use the thc off in the circle rule, it turns thc off before firing the torch, and doesnt wait for the arc ok from the plasma.

By having thc off on lead-in, it should still turn off, no?

I slow down just a bit before crossing the lead-in, makes the hole a little rounder.

The THC off problem should be fixed in the next release.
